History Achievements Heroes Future Prospects Executive Body History Two clubs used to play in kalagjuran before introducing of new club in the name of (Prince Hockey club Kalagjuran). Those clubs were (Eleven Star Hockey club Kalagujran and Tufaan Hockey club Kalagjuran. Main players of Eleven stars Hockey Club were (Javed Iqbal, Mirza Tariq, Mohammad Shahid, and Mohammad. Saleem, Shaukat Mahmood etc.) Main players of Tufaan Hockey club were (Abdul Rasheed Dawah, Master Amin, Javed Jedi, Masood Ahmed etc.) Prince Hockey Club kalagjuran 1st time introduced in District Championship organized at Police Line Ground in 1982. This was combine team of both clubs of Kalagujran. The founder of this club was Ejaz Rafiq Bhatti. He was also a national Player of Football team. He also introduced Kashmir Football club at Kalagujran. Later on masood ahmed goalkeeper of the club take up the responsibility to run the club successfully. Amir saleem mir, Amir Hamid (Kuku), Abdul Rasheed Dahwa and Mohammad Saleem were the main leaders of the club after mr. masood ahmed. They were all really sincere with club and they took the responsibility to afford all the expenses of the club. They also arranged the tournament at Kalagjuran Ground. Later on Malik Arshad Mahmood, Zubair Hussain Shah, Zahoor Alam Butt, Ejaz Ashraf Dar, Abdul Rasheed Dahwa become executive body of the team. They are still running the club successfully. ArshadProf. Safdar Jamil Ahmed (jeela tiger)Mohammad PervezAchievements Prince Hockey Club Kalagjuran played lot of matches and tournaments from 1982 to 2002. 1st time club reached in final of District Championship in 1985 played at Govt. Degree College Ground. masood ahmed was the captain of team. After very tough match club lost by 2-1. Later on club took part in lot of tournaments and won the tournaments. For last 3 years club really achieved landmarks in Jhelum Hockey. in year 2001 there were four players of the club selected in District under 16 team. District team played all Punjab under 16-hockey tournament at Lahore National Stadium on Astroturf. 34 Districts were taking part in the tournament. Shehzad Ahmed center forward member of Prince Hockey Club played well and scored goals in every match. In year 2002 again 6 players of Prince Hockey club selected in District under 16 team. Yasir Ramzan (right out), Ahsan tufail(Left out) , Shehzad Ahmed (center forward) , Farhan Mahmood (right half) Sultan Mahmood (Goalkeeper) and Ali Abbas (full Back) . District team played all Punjab under 16-hockey tournament at Lahore National Stadium on Astroturf. 34 Districts were taking part in the tournament. In between match of Jhelum and Gujranwala Mr. Atif Bashir player of Pakistan National Hockey team passed very good remarks on District Jhelum team. District Jhelum team also won the match against Sheikhupura. The coach of the Sheikhupura District team was Olympian player of Pakistan Hockey team. Shehzad Ahmed selected in Punjab camp and attended 15 days training camp after tournament. Another big achievement by Prince Hockey club. Prince Hockey Club 1st time in history of hockey in Pakistan arranged a very big under 16 training camp in the name of 1st mirza ibrahim memorial training camp at Govt. Degree college G.T. Road Jhleum under Supervision of Mahmood Anwar dar National A Grade Umpire of Pakistan. 50 boys age of under 16 took part in 15 days training camp organized from 20 may 2001 to 5th June 2001. 50 hockey sticks of good quality and 50 balls awarded to every player on final day. Mr. Rana Inam Rabbani Seceretary Punjab Hockey Association was chief guest of final day. Recently Prince Hockey club won Mirza Nazir memorial Hockey tournament organized at Govt. Degree college G.T.road Jhelum. Future Prospects Prince hockey club consists on young players. there are 10 players in team, which are under 16. so under the supervision of the executive body and senior players team will get more awards in future inshallah.
